A Professional Contracting Company
These types of projects consist of full interior/exterior renovations to every room with possible layout changes. Major renovations are performed usually due to fire damage, modernizing older homes or converting the function of a house. Unlike remodeling projects, which focuses on a specific room, these projects are more complex to undertake and require planning on all levels.
The first and most important step in a major renovation is the interior demolition. While this process requires ripping, breaking, gutting and removal of all old material, it's performed in a controlled method to maintain an organized work area. Clean demolitions set certain expectations for all the labor phases that follow next in a project.
After demolition, any layout changes or repairs will be performed followed by rough installations of mechanical, electric and plumbing (MEP). These items will be installed to local building codes or better. Once inspections pass, insulation is installed followed by sheetrock, painting and all finish materials. While this process sounds straight forward, it really isn't. It truly requires a certain level of preparedness which Innozign Contracting is able to provide to our Clients.
Depending on the age of the house, how the house was constructed or underlining issues not known, performing renovations can be similar to the opening of pandora's box. We plan for best but are equipped to handle the challenges that may be presented. The unfortunate part of these realities is they add cost to the project to remedy. To be transparent, we will discuss potential concerns during our assessment of the project before we start the process so there is an idea of what to expect. See below for possible challenges...
